Innovating Artist (age 12+)

In our Innovating Artist class, children aged 12+ years old will transition towards a more realistic phase, they begin to depict subjects with striking accuracy, marrying their growing understanding with honed technical skills. This pivotal stage allows them to break conventional bounds, producing artworks that not only exceed imagination but also resonate with individual charm and ambition.

Course Content:

• Deepened Observation Skills: Foster an intensified capability to perceive and portray, capturing the essence of subjects with finesse.
• Analytical Expression: With guided mentorship, students are empowered to dissect and convey their subjects, celebrating the merger of structure and spontaneity.
• Emotive Resonance: Encourage the articulation of thoughts and emotions, transforming raw feelings into powerful visual stories.
• Diverse Thought Process: Champion varied interpretations, promoting multiple ways of thinking, which lays the foundation for independent and critical contemplation.
• Artistic Evolution: Nurture an aesthetic temperament that steadily refines artistic prowess, boosting confidence, and propelling self-imposed boundaries in creative endeavors.

Course Structure:

• Introductory PowerPoint (10 minutes): A concise, engaging presentation introduces art concepts and techniques, setting the stage for creative exploration.
• Art Creation (70 minutes): Students then apply what they've learned in a hands-on session, turning concepts into personal artwork, fostering creativity and skill development.
• Presentation and Feedback (10 minutes): The class ends with a brief period where students share their work, offering a chance for feedback and peer learning, reinforcing a supportive and constructive learning environment.

Materials Provided:

All art materials and supplies will be provided by Amazing Art lab. Just bring your curiosity and creativity!

Online Student Portfolio:

After each class, the artwork created by each student will be uploaded to their individual online portfolios, accompanied by the teacher's feedback.
